Terms of Use

1 General

Wovo is a personality-focused dating application operated by Sait Gürdap Babuç. By downloading, creating an account, or using the app, you are deemed to accept these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not accept the terms, you should not use the app.

2 Who can use it

Wovo is only for people aged 18 and over. By creating an account, you confirm that you are over 18, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you will use the app in compliance with applicable laws. Each person may open only one account.

3 Your account and verification

• Signing in to your account is done with your phone number and a one-time code sent by SMS. You are responsible for the security of your number and device.
• Wovo offers Instagram verification (blue check) to increase account authenticity. Verification is intended to show that the account you declare belongs to you; declaring false information or information belonging to someone else is prohibited.
• You are responsible for keeping the information you provide accurate and up to date.

4 How it works: face masking and matching

Wovo is built on getting to know personality first. Faces in profile photos are automatically hidden until two people match. A match happens as a result of mutual interest (a like). Wovo does not guarantee a match, an introduction, or a relationship; Wovo is not responsible for the communication and interaction between users.

5 Rules we expect you to follow

To keep Wovo a safe and respectful place, the following are prohibited:

• Using a fake identity, someone else's photos, or misleading information.
• Harassment, threats, hate speech, insults, or disturbing behavior.
• Sharing obscene, illegal content, or content that violates the rights of others.
• Fraud, spam, advertising, or commercial use.
• Attempting to bypass the app's security measures, manipulate the system, or gain unauthorized access.
• Collecting or misusing other users' information without permission.

6 Memberships and payments

• Wovo can be used for free; Plus and Gold memberships are offered for additional features.
• Payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to the rules of the relevant store. Wovo does not see or store your card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of the period unless canceled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in the relevant store's settings.
• Refunds are subject to the refund policies of the relevant store (Apple/Google).

7 Your content and rights

The photos and profile information you upload belong to you. You grant Wovo permission to use this content only to make the app work (for example, to show your profile and enable matching). You are responsible for ensuring that the content you share belongs to you and does not violate the rights of others.

8 Closing your account

You can close your account at any time using the "Delete My Account" option inside the app. We also reserve the right to close accounts that violate these terms or threaten the safety of the community.

9 Limitation of liability

Wovo is not responsible for interactions between users, meetings, or their outcomes. The app is provided "as is"; it is not guaranteed to work without interruption or errors. To the extent permitted by law, we cannot be held responsible for indirect damages that may arise from the use of the app. It is your responsibility to protect your own safety when meeting other people.

10 Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; we will inform you of significant changes. These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Continuing to use the app means you accept the current terms.
